Yesterday I got this advice.

Our senior copywriter said, over sandwiches at Subway, that while applying to other big agencies, always mail your portfolio and never your resume. Only when then ask for it, mail it then.

Within few minutes, a friend from Delhi asked for my resume.

So how did I use the advice? Fairly simple. Combined portfolio and curriculum vitae.
